ORANGEVILLE RODEO WEEKEND

The 5th stop on the Dodge Rodeo Tour 2008 schedule welcomes back the town of Orangeville to the Dodge Rodeo Tour Family after a three year absence. Rodeo Management Group and Dodge Rodeo are please to set up shop again in the middle of Horse Country.

Orangeville serves as an administrative and commercial hub for Dufferin County, northern portion Peel Region and the surrounding area. Orangeville's downtown core is home to several retail stores, and there is a cluster of "big-box" stores in the Fairgrounds Shopping Centre.

Many residents of Orangeville and the surrounding area also commute to the Greater Toronto Area for work.

The Orangeville Rodeo Committee will host this mid-season event at the Orangeville Fairgrounds which are located north-east of Orangeville on 5 Sideroad, Mono Township, just off Hockley Road, approx. 2.5 km east of Highway 10. It's beautiful location - tailor made for the scale of a Dodge Rodeo Tour Production - featuring ample parking with both indoor and outdoor facilities being wheelchair accessible. Why not make a weekend of it with Approximately 500 hotel rooms within 10 minutes of the Fair Grounds.

The August long weekend will feature a two day rodeo event that will give people a reason to head no further North than Orangeville. The event will also feature a Country 95.3 Video Dance after the Saturday Performance.
