Friendly and courteous ~ that's the #1 description of Exeter.   Exeter was founded in 1832 and by 1853, grew into a community of over 300.  Today it boasts a population of 4,700 and is the largest centre in the southern part of the county.  In 2001, Stephen, Usborne and Exeter amalgamated to form the Municipality of South Huron, where it offers a life style of small town living with the peace and quiet of the country-side.  Exeter also possesses all the facilities a family needs … spiritual, cultural, physical, recreational and specialty shops.  Exeter is well known for it's beautiful heritage homes, buildings and churches that stand proudly as a remembrance of the past.  Should you desire the bright lights of the city, London and Stratford are a mere 30 minute drive and only 2 hours from Toronto.  Admire beautiful sunsets over the sandy shores of Lake Huron only 15 minutes from the home of the Exeter Rodeo.  Exeter … where town and country meet.

Mark your calendar for August 8, 9 & 10 and join us for the 12th annual Exeter Rodeo.  You will witness the exciting action of steer wrestling, bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, calf roping, team roping and bull riding!

Throw on your cowboy hat, kick back and enjoy the show!
